Ramsey Food Bank Offering help for people of Ramsey and the local community who need Food Support. We are open Tuesday and Thursday 10am-12Noon at St. Thomas a Becket Church.

We don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. That’s why we provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to us in crisis. We are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and

hunger across the UK. This page is sharing the hard work that the Ramsey Food Bank does for the local community. Everyone can come on hard times in the modern world and sometime the biggest step is reaching out. We hope by sharing our work and the experiences of those using the Food Bank, we can reach out to those in need, look for people to volunteer to help, and encourage people to support their neighbour's by donating to the Food Bank. If you want to get involved or require our services, please get in touch or come along for a Hot drink and a chat.

Whilst we absolutely appreciate every single donation that comes through our doors, it is essential that everything is in date.
We are governed by a very strict set of rules where by if one single person should complain of being unwell due to an item being out of date given from Foodbank, we would have to close.
This would have a significant impact on the local and wider community, not just for food but other support and services that we offer.
Everyone knows when at home you may take that chance but at Foodbank unfortunately we cannot.

We are currently planning and preparing our Summer Support parcels for the local Schools.
Listed below are the items we need to ensure that we can do this.
If you can help in anyway please donate in Tesco, St Thomas a Becket Church or Warboys Spar.

Cereal. Milk.
Pasta. Tuna.
Beans. Soup.
Crisps. Pasta sauce.
Ice pops. Squash.
Bubbles. Suncream.

The Trussell Trust runs the largest network of food banks in the UK, giving emergency food and support to people in crisis. Fourteen million people live below the poverty line and in the last year close to 3 million emergency food parcels were distributed to people in crisis.
