We’ve been keeping busy down at our fire training ground since the new year…

Here’s a video from a recent training course, showing what happens if water is put on a chip pan fire…

This was the result of just 1 cup of water…

If a pan of oil does catch alight, NEVER put water on it or try to move it. Turn off the heat if you can do so safely, get outside, call 999, and ask for the fire service.
