World of Owls is a self funded charity with unpaid staff who devote their life to looking after all the rescued animals at the sanctuary. Most of our staff have differing conditions which may make it difficult to communicate with visitors, please be courteous. We are a non-funded working rescue centre, we are not a shiny theme park type zoo, we are here for the upkeep and care of the animals which

you will find in immaculate condition. If you have any questions, PLEASE ask our staff, sometimes a simple explanation will make things very clear about some of our practices. Please check our timetable before traveling to us. If in doubt call us. Not for Profit Registered Charity Reg: NI "100938."

At last: There has been a nationwide letter went out to all educational facilities in the country regarding illegal visits into schools with animals. After over 25 years of asking the Education Authority, it seems someone has finally listened. Too many children being put at risk by unsafe practises by some.
World Of Owls has two UK zoological licenses and our educators are experienced, qualified, licensed and insured.
If you are requiring a visit from us all our relevant documentation can be provided.
