NEW Home Educators Gardening Group: Join us on Tuesdays, 10am–12:30pm in Muncaster’s Community Kitchen Garden for hands-on learning.

Children can get stuck into gardening, discover how food grows, learn more about the natural world and enjoy stories and games along the way.

Our Garden Supervisors will support each session, with activities changing throughout the year to follow the seasons and what’s happening in the garden.

Ages 4+. Free for Home Educators and their children. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times, with a maximum of 3 children per adult.

DON’T MISS OUR COMMUNITY APPLE PRESSING DAY!

Got apples? Bring them along on this Saturday 3 October and turn them into delicious fresh apple juice!

Our Community Kitchen Garden Team will be joining forces with The Scratters – North Cumbria Orchard Group for a day all about making the most of this year’s apple harvest.

Simply bring along your clean, ripe apples and a container for your juice.

There’ll be plenty for the family to get involved with too, including an apple scavenger hunt, apple tasting and apple peeling challenge, plus refreshments and lots of friendly faces.
