Rawreth Parish Council

Temporary Traffic lights for emergency mains works on Rawreth Lane at the junction of Caversham Park Avenue are causing extensive delays on all routes including Rawreth Lane, London Road and the A1245.

Unfortunately we don't have anymore details but will provide any further information and updates if and when known.

We would suggest allowing at least an extra 30 minutes for journeys this evening.

Thank you to the knitters and crocheters who joined us this morning, your poppies have now been added to our display. 🌺🧶

We will be back next Wednesday 9th September 10am to Midday The Pavilion John Fisher Recreation Ground Little Wheatley Chase (next to Grange Community Centre) everyone is welcome, crafting isn't a requirement, just come along for a coffee and chat.

If anyone would like us to collect completed poppies please let us know 🌺

We also have more wool arriving today so please shout if you need anymore 🧶🧶🧶🧶🧶

Our thanks again to Rayleigh FC for allowing the Parish Council to use the wonderful Pavilion to host the craft and coffee mornings, what a brilliant community asset you've created 🟠⚫️❤️

A reminder that our Meeting takes place tomorrow evening at 7.30pm at The Pavilion, Little Wheatley Chase Rayleigh (next to Grange Community Centre)

We've received a lot of enquiries from Wolsey Park residents so please feel free to share this post to any WhatsApp or Facebook groups for Wolsey Park and groups throughout our Parish

We look forward to welcoming everyone to the meeting where you will have the opportunity to meet and talk to your Parish Councillors and any visiting District and County Councillors.

This morning we've started to attach Poppy's to the cargo net that will form the cascade from the Village Sign.

If anyone has any Poppy's they'd like us to collect please let us know, or come and join us next Wednesday 10am to Midday The Pavilion, John Fisher Recreation Ground, Little Wheatley Chase.
