👏 Celebrating the fantastic work of Bar 'n' Bus!

Rayleigh Town Council Chairman, Cllr Elizabeth Brewer, and Vice Chairman, Cllr Lisa Newport, were delighted to attend the Bar 'n' Bus AGM and Annual Celebration on Thursday 8th October.

Rayleigh Town Council is proud to support Bar 'n' Bus and the important work they do with young people across our community.

Our partnership has grown stronger this year, with the Town Council providing funding towards a dedicated part-time youth worker for Rayleigh. This helps deliver outreach activities, mentoring and opportunities for young people to access support in a safe and welcoming environment.

We are also pleased to see plans progressing for a new Youth Drop-In Café in Rayleigh, working alongside Rayleigh Baptist Church.

Bar 'n' Bus reported an impressive 12,058 engagements with young people over the past year across its services in South Essex.

👏 A huge congratulations to Jamie Sawtell and the entire Bar 'n' Bus team, including their dedicated staff, trustees and volunteers, for their continued commitment to supporting young people.

Rayleigh Town Council looks forward to continuing this valued partnership and helping ensure our young people have the support and opportunities they deserve.
