Blue Angel Care is dedicated to providing flexible and accessible care to ensure our clients maintain their independence in their own homes whilst receiving person centred support in a dignified and respectful way. Our care team includes our highly valued Care Givers supported by a Care Manager, Care Specialists, Team Leaders and Quality Assurance personnel. To meet our exacting standards for the delivery of personalised care to our clients, each member of our team is supported through intensive and rewarding training. Care Givers are paid a Living Wage (as set by the Living Wage Foundation), time between travel and mileage.

Today, our team had the pleasure of visiting Rothsay Grange Care Home in Andover, part of Healthcare, alongside Tanya from our partners at on Thames - Rehabilitation Specialists.

It was a wonderful opportunity to meet with Tanya and Sandra, discuss opportunities for collaboration and explore how we can work together to provide more joined-up care and support for individuals and their families.

At Blue Angel Care, we believe that building strong relationships with fellow care and healthcare professionals is key to making a positive difference in our communities.

🌟 Get to Know Our Finalists: #4 Emma! 🌟

After 18 years of service in the police, Emma joined Blue Angel Care in March 2024, following a lifelong passion for caring for others and making a difference in people’s lives.

Personal experiences, including supporting her partner through cancer and sadly losing her niece to the disease, have shaped her compassionate approach to care. These experiences have taught her the importance of kindness, patience and emotional support, particularly during life's most challenging moments.

As a proud parent of three, family means everything to Emma, and she brings those same values of love, understanding and respect into her work every day.

Since joining Blue Angel Care, Emma has found great fulfilment in building meaningful relationships with clients and their families, helping people feel safe, valued and supported in the comfort of their own homes.

For Emma, it's often the little things that make the biggest difference, whether that's sharing a laugh, offering reassurance or simply taking the time to listen.

She genuinely looks forward to coming to work each day, knowing that even the smallest gesture can brighten someone's day.

Amit joined Blue Angel Care as a bank Care Giver in our Central Hampshire team and has since progressed to Senior Care Giver before moving into business development.

Throughout his journey, Amit has shown a genuine passion for supporting people, building meaningful relationships and finding ways to improve the care we provide.

Today, he uses his frontline experience to strengthen connections with hospitals, healthcare professionals and community organisations across South Hampshire.

He has also played an important role in organising professional networking events, bringing people together to share knowledge and explore better ways of supporting our communities.

🌟Get to know our Great British Care Awards Finalists - #2 Sarah!🌟

Today, we're celebrating Sarah, one of our wonderful Great British Care Awards 2026 Regional Finalists!

Sarah joined Blue Angel Care in 2019 as a care giver and has since grown into a role where she helps others develop their skills and confidence.

Over the years, she's trained more than 100 care givers, sharing her knowledge and passion for making a difference in people's lives.
For Sarah, the most rewarding part of her role is seeing care givers grow and knowing that her support helps them deliver better care to our clients.

Outside of work, Sarah is a proud mum of four, and her children and granddaughter are her absolute world! She loves spending quality time with her family, especially making precious memories with her granddaughter. She particularly values how Blue Angel Care understands the importance of family life and the time spent with loved ones.

Sarah, thank you for everything you do to inspire and support those around you. We're so proud to see you recognised as a finalist and will be cheering you on!

We're kicking off our series with Hayley Rogers, our Basingstoke Registered Manager and finalist for The Home Care Registered Manager Award! 🏆

Hayley joined Blue Angel Care in 2018 as the Registered Manager for our Basingstoke location, and her passion for care has always been simple: treating every client with the same dignity, respect and compassion she would want for her own family.

She’s equally passionate about her team, supporting people to grow, develop and achieve their goals.

Outside of work, Hayley loves spending time with her partner and their children. Family is at the heart of everything she does, both at home and at work.

Hayley lives by the words: “When you love what you do, you never work a day in your life.”
