EA FLOOD WARNING.

A flood warning has been issued by the Environment Agency.

Flood warning in force: River Thames at Purley Village

Flooding is expected for: River Thames at Purley Village
Rising river levels are expected to cause flooding overnight.

Flooding is expected from the evening of 16 February 2026.

Flooding of property and roads is expected, especially nearest the River Thames in the Purley area. Further rain showers are possible overnight. Tomorrow is forecasted to be predominantly dry. We expect river levels to continue slowly rising overnight and tomorrow. River levels will remain high over the coming days as water moves downstream, following recent rainfall.

We are monitoring rainfall and river levels.

Activate any flood protection products you may have. Go to River Levels Online for updates on current river levels.

This message will be updated by 11:00AM on 17 February 2026 or as the situation changes.
