N2O (Nitrous Oxide) canisters may not be a fuel source, but they act as an oxidiser, meaning they can cause fires to burn hotter and spread faster. When crushed canisters can also explode, creating a serious safety risk for our crews and facilities.
Help keep our teams safe by disposing of gas bottles and N2O canisters responsibly and never place them in your kerbside bins, instead:
♻ Disposable (non-refillable) canisters can be taken to re3 Recycling Centres free of charge.
ℹ Refillable canisters should be returned to the manufacturer or supplier where possible. If this isn't possible, they can be accepted at our sites for a small charge.

As weather continues to stay warm, most of us switching to flip-flops or sandals to keep cool! However, remember that when visiting our sites please wear sensible shoes for your own safety. You just don’t know what may have fallen on the ground where you’re walking, or who might drop something heavy, so sensible shoes are a must!

🎒 The end of the school year is almost here! As children grow, it's likely they'll have school uniforms that no longer fit. Before you throw them away, give them a second life. 💚

You can donate unwanted school uniforms at the Uniform Reuse bins at our Recycling Centres. We're proud to be working First Days Children's Charity to help ensure good-quality uniforms go to local families who need them most.

We accept:
👕 School uniforms (with or without labels)
👖 PE kits
👟 School shoes
🎒 Uniform accessories

♻️ New reuse opportunity at re3 Recycling Centres! You can now return unwanted home support equipment so it can be refurbished, reused and help someone else in our community. Please look for a special cages at our both sites!

If you have items provided by Millbrook Healthcare or NRS Healthcare, such as crutches, walking frames, shower stools or raised toilet seats, don't throw them away - give them a second life.

All smaller medical aid items can be dropped off at the re3 Recycling Centres in Bracknell and Reading. Please ensure they're clean and still have their identification sticker attached.

If you have any larger equipment such as beds or chairs, Millbrook Healthcare offers a free home collection service.
