Woodley Town Council is aware of concerns that were raised about antisocial behaviour associated with activity around the Woodley Carnival event on Saturday 13 June.

We welcome Thames Valley Police’s prompt response, including the dispersal order, and support any further action they take to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the community.

We thank residents and visitors for their patience and cooperation, and the Woodley Carnival Committee for the time and commitment they put into organising the event. The Council will continue to work with partners and the community to address any concerns to keep Woodley safe and welcoming for everyone.

Reminder! 📢

Starting today - Monday 8th June - the main play area in Woodford Park and the community orchard will be closed for one week due to Woodley Carnival preparations. The toddler fenced in area will remain open.

During this period, please be mindful that large vehicles will be on the memorial ground to help set up for Woodley Carnival.
