The Base gallery at Greenham Business Park, near Newbury, is holding two autism-friendly relaxed opening days during the run of its autumn exhibition Small Wonders: Reimagining British Art, which opens next week.
The relaxed days will be on Thursdays September 17 and October 22, both from 10am to 5pm.

The Hayward Gallery, at the South Bank Centre in London, has an autism-friendly Relaxed Hours event coming up on Tuesday, September 22, from 11am to 2pm, giving visitors an opportunity to enjoy its current exhibition of work by the immersive artist and sculptor Anish Kapoor

A reminder that free places can now be booked at the Berkshire West Autism & ADHD Support Service's autumn term advice workshops for parents and carers of children aged up to 17 who have possible or confirmed autism and/or ADHD.
The workshops start on Thursday next week, September 10, with a session on Understanding More About Autism, from 10am to 11.30am.

Wokingham Borough Council's Family Intervention Resources and Support Team (FIRST) is holding a coffee morning for parents and carers from 9.30am to 11.30am on Thursday, September 17, at Woodley Airfield Centre, in Hurricane Way, offering an opportunity to find out about the support it offers around sleep (including anxiety) and distressed and disregulated behaviour.
The team supports parents and carers of children and teenagers aged 3 to 18 who live in the borough council area who are disabled, autistic or on the autism assessment pathway.

Elizaveta Nosova, a PhD researcher at the University of Manchester, is investigating support for young autistic children in the UK and is inviting autistic adults and parents of autistic children (aged under 18) to complete her online survey.
The survey form takes 10 to 40 minutes, depending on how much information you would like to share in your responses.

Autistic adults who live in Berkshire, and their parents and carers, can drop in to get face to-face help at the Berkshire Adult Autism Support Service's free problem-solving and advice meet-up in Reading next Monday, September 7, from 1.30pm to 3pm, in the Atrium coffee shop at Greyfriars Church, in Friar Street.
Whether you need information, or want to discuss something that is worrying you, come along to meet our team.

The Oxygen Activeplay centre in Reading runs regular Peaceful Play sessions for autistic children and children with sensory or learning disabilities, aged 4+, with trampolining and other fun activities available.
The sessions take place on Wednesdays and Sundays from 5pm to 7pm. Times may change during school holidays.
Tickets cost £9.95 per child, with a carer admitted free of charge.

Free tickets are available for the next Early Birds morning at the Science Museum in London.
The event on Saturday, September 26, from 8am to 11am, is suitable for families with children aged 4 to 15, who are autistic and/or have sensory needs. Siblings are welcome to attend.
Its theme will be all things to do with Space - visitors will be able to enjoy some space exploration themed hands-on workshops and craft activities, take a journey through the Solar System at a Space on a Sphere talk and explore the Star Trek Warp Trail and discover how the sci-fi films inspired real-world science.
Please note that all tickets must be booked in advance.
The museum is in Exhibition Road, close to South Kensington Underground station.
