We are continuing to work with partners at the scene of the recent incident at the Daler-Rowney site in Bracknell.
Residents in the area may notice fire and rescue service vehicles attending the site to monitor for any hotspots and damp down where required.
We are also part of multi-agency partnership meetings led by Bracknell Forest Council, to help the local community recover from the impact of the incident.
Thank you for your continued support and patience.

Update on the Daler-Rowney fire - we are now focusing on recovery and working with various organisations to support the local community, residents who were affected, and assess the environmental impact.
Today we visited in the region of 100 properties and identified those homes where specialist cleaning is required. Following our visits and inspections, we have found the impact is limited to properties very close to the source of the fire.
We are now working with a specialist contractor to arrange the appropriate clean up. It is anticipated that the contractors will commence this work over the weekend, setting up a base in Browning Copse.
As a precaution, we have closed the children’s play area in Browning Copse until the necessary cleaning has been completed.
Residents who have already collected debris, should not place this debris with their general waste, as it will be collected by the contractors. Please keep this double bagged and separate from bin collection material.
