The keys are currently at Redcar Town Office, Red Lion Street.

Yesterday officers from Redcar Neighbourhood Policing Team recovered a vehicle in the Redcar area after it had been reported as making off from Police on several occasions that day and did not have the correct vehicle documentation.

❗DISPERSAL ORDER following recent reports of anti-social behaviour and fighting at and near to Majuba beach in Redcar. This order is in place from 6pm today (Thursday 28 May) until 6pm on Saturday 30 May.

You can expect to see officers in the area as well as the police drone overhead to establish what has taken place and to ensure the safety of those on or near to Majuba beach.

If you have information or footage, please get in touch by calling 101, and speak to an officer if you have concerns.

The areas of the dispersal order are highlighted in the map below.

The Knife Amnesty bin will be outside Redcar Town Police Office this afternoon (Weds 20th May) between 4pm & 5pm
Please come along & get rid of any knives, in a safe, no questions asked way !

This afternoon PCSO CHILLINGSWORTH and PCSO CZARNOCKA-HAMMOUM are attending John Batty Primary School in the Zetland Ward, to do some engagement with the nursery class. Allowing the young children to try on some Police uniform, informal meet & greet and ask us questions.
School Engagement is an important part of our role, forging links with our local schools & giving children the confidence to engage with us.

Today Pcso Robinson attended Roseberry Court Care home, Redcar to celebrate Donalds 102th birthday.

It was a lovely afternoon with many of the residents and his family celebrating with him on this special day.

Good news!!

The owner of the shoes and the phone has now been found safe and well.

Thank you to everyone who shared this appeal to find him. 🙏

We are trying to trace the owner of a pair of size 11, Nike training shoes and a Samsung mobile phone, which were found on Majuba Beach in Redcar earlier today, Wednesday 13 May.

The items were found close to Redcar Caravan Park.

Drone searches of the beach and the water have been negative.

The phone is waterlogged and not currently working, so we are waiting for it to dry out to see if we can glean more information or call from it.

We're appealing for information on a burglary on Redcar Road in Dunsdale, Guisborough on Tuesday 12 May.

At around 11pm, two men were seen leaving the property and a member of the public apprehended one of them.

A 36-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of burglary on police arrival. He was later released on bail pending further enquiries.

Anyone who may have footage of this man running towards Redcar, or any further information in relation to this burglary, can call 101 quoting reference SE26090309.
