💜“THAT” parent 💜

Throughout my daughter’s years at school I was ‘that’ parent who received the loudest eye rolls. From teachers and fellow parents.

It was truly exhausting attending school almost daily, myself, to sort out staff wrong doings and social misunderstandings let alone all the other stuff.

With the right approach from schools ‘that’ parent can be a very valuable member of the school community, who will help mould and shape a school into a more inclusive respectful environment (which I’m pleased to report is the case for me now!).

And I question any teacher throwing these judgements what they would do if they saw their child being failed. They’d become ‘that’ parent too.

Practiced whisking, separating eggs, weighing out goods and holding the camera for the zoom meeting all of the same time!!!.

Today's bake together was Pinch of Nom lemon drizzle cake. Losing weight by whisking egg whites (forever and ever). Looks okay. Ready for the tasting with a cup of tea.
