Met with the amazing Tony Young and his lovely wife today in preparation for the Fishing Then and Now talk this Friday at Kirkleatham Museum & Grounds. Spent the afternoon learning about the wonderful traditional cobles on our seafront and their stories. The cobles are like treasure chests that hold so many stories of the sea. Cannot wait for Friday with Rodders Thompson and Whitby Lobster Hatchery. It’s going to be a really special afternoon. Message me if you’d like to come along. All are welcome.
