We carry out rehabilitation work with sick and injured birds of prey, support conservation projects as well as running our own--the Kirkleatham Nest Box Scheme and do education work in the form of in house and outreach school visits. prices

Adults - £3.50, children £2.50 (under 3's free) £10:00 family ticket (2 adults up to 2 children) and senior citizens £3.00

AUTUMN FRUITS

Our Neighbors over at the Kirkleatham Walled Garden dropped off lots of fallen Autumn Fruit--Apples, Plums, Pears for our animals.

Our Emu Donk & Didge loved tucking into a basket full of plums and Apples!

This Saturday 5th September is the Walled Gardens Flower and produce show--we will be there as well with a little stall talking about our work.

SUMMER HOLIDAYS 2026 ALL DONE!

The Summer Holidays 2026 are all finished--it has been a long (and Hot) Summer--even the Meerkats need a little nap!

We are now on our School Term Time Hours of Open Thursday to Sunday 10:00am to 4:30pm with Flying Displays on Saturdays & Sundays (weather Permitting) until October Half Term.

LAST FEW DAYS OF THE SUMMER HOLIDAYS

It has been a long (hot) Summer and the Holidays are nearly finished--we are open right through to (and including) Bank Holiday Monday)

Our super friendly hens (and their chicks) have loved meeting (and getting fed!) by everyone--they won't know what to do when its back to school time!

A COOLING EMU SHOWER

Our Emu Donk & Didge love a refreshing cold shower when the weather is hot--and on last weeks really hot days they cooled down by sitting under the sprinkler!

MEET MOANA, MAUI, & HEI HEI THE NEWEST MEMBERS OF OUR MEERKAT FAMILY.

Visiting over the Holidays? be sure to stop by and say hello to the tiny new members of our Meerkat family and at just 6 weeks old they are settling in with the mob.

Our meerkats are all named after cartoon film charectors and these 3 names were suggested by lots of visitors--but see if you can spot older brother Garfield who was born earlier in the year and is not much bigger than these 3!

We are open Tuesday to Sunday 10:30am to 4:30pm across the Summer Holidays.

SUMMER HOLIDAYS WEEK 3 -- ITS PREHISTORIC WEEK

Another busy week ahead--we have Daily Flying Display, Meerkat & Porcupine Feed & Talk,

Then we have lots of prehistoric Dino fun--we have a Dinosaur Fact Trail, our Children's Craft is prehistoric Dino themed,

Our 12:0'clock talk is all about real life living creatures and their links to prehistoric relatives--and we even have a T-REX nest in the flower bed!!

We are open Tuesday to Sunday 10:00am to 4:30pm
