It might be a little cooler than earlier in the week, but we’ve still got some sun to come over the weekend.

We’ve had a few enquiries from customers about what can be used in communal areas during the warmer weather, so here’s a quick reminder:

Paddling pools
Reasonable-sized paddling pools (around 4–5ft max and designed for toddlers) are allowed when:
• Supervised by a responsible adult at all times
• Never left full without supervision
• Emptied and tidied away overnight

BBQs
BBQs are permitted in communal gardens if they are:
• Supervised by a responsible adult
• Used responsibly and away from windows/balconies
• Not causing nuisance to neighbours

Please note:
• No gas or disposable BBQs
• Never use BBQs inside properties, gazebos, or on balconies
• Keep a bucket of water or sand nearby in case of emergencies

Play equipment
• No trampolines or large fixed play equipment in communal gardens
• Small play items can be used if packed away overnight

Fans and portable air conditioning units
Please use safely:
• Don’t run continuously for long periods
• Avoid overloading plug sockets

Thank you for helping keep our communal spaces safe and enjoyable for everyone

If you've had a bank holiday clear out, then please be respectful of our bin areas.

Items that can be given a new lease of life can be taken to charity shops or added to sales sites. Otherwise, please organise bulky collections through your local council or use your nearest recycling centre to dispose of items.

Fly-tipping and dumping bulky items makes our communal and bin areas unpleasant for everyone and can attract more rubbish and vermin.

- If you see someone fly-tipping, please report it to us in confidence on 0300 123 3399. This helps us act quickly and, where possible, charge the cost of removal back to the offender.
- Bulk collections can be booked through your local council. If you’ve arranged a collection, please only leave items out the evening before and clearly label them for council collection.

Thank you for helping us keep our neighbourhoods clean, safe, and tidy.

Stay fire safe at home with these simple tips:

✅ Test your smoke alarm. Smoke alarms can save your life in the event of a fire in your home but only if you test them regularly. Let us know if they're not working properly.
