Residents have become concerned about the parked cars on the inside bend of Mid St opposite Braes Mead. Until recently, villagers refrained from parking there as it make an already difficult section of Mid St even more dangerous with cars forced blind into oncoming traffic. Cars parked there will be leafletted in the hope that this stops the issue, but failing that alternative measures may be required.

Surrey County Council have given notice that Bower Hill Lane will be closed from 7am till 7pm for 20 weeks at some point for a year starting 3rd June. The official diversion route is Clay Lane and Hogtrough Lane but it will doubtless result in more traffic through South Nutfield

NPC has been contacted by representatives of the landowner of the big field to the East of Mid Street between Thepps Close and the stream.
They want to build on it, which, if approved would be roughly the same size as Nutfield Green Park.
There is an online meeting next Wednesday and NPC urges concerned residents to try to participate. There is a request to register to join ahead of time.

Have your say

Nutfield Parish Council are adopting a 2 year strategic plan ‘Nutfield 2025’ in order to further improve and enhance the environment and assets of our village. We want to engage with Parishioners to understand and then address the priorities that are important to you.

In addition, The Station Pub Action Group are also keen to hear your views and thoughts on all things regarding the pub.

The survey is open to everyone living in the village who is over 18. To ensure your views are heard please complete our online short survey and encourage others in your household to do the same. The survey is open until 31st December 2024.

For further information an initial draft version of the strategic plan outlining its objectives, funding and consultation timelines can be found on the Parish Council website http://www.nutfieldpc.com/strategic-plan-index

Nutfield Parish Council are looking for someone with excellent admin and finance skills to fill the vacancy of Responsible Financial Officer (RFO) as soon as possible. This is a really flexible part-time role (20 hours per week) with hybrid working both from home and the Parish Office at the Nutfield Village Hall. The RFO is responsible for all the Financial administration, so book keeping, bank reconciliation and receipts/payments experience is a must along with excellent MS Office skills. Other duties are varied as you would be assisting the Parish Clerk as required. You would need to be a driver with your own transport as there would be some travel around the Parish to carry out your duties. Please see our website for further details and how to apply:
