Norfolk County Council (Reedham, Humpty Dumpty 10K)
Temporary Traffic Regulation Order 2026 – Notice Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“RTRA 1984”) as amended by the Road Traffic Regulation (Special Events) Act 1994

Norfolk County Council, hereby give notice that to facilitate the Humpty Dumpty 10K, they intend to make an Order under Section 16A of the RTRA 1984 and all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict/prohibit vehicular traffic on the:
a. U59399 Pottles Lane/Church Road, from its junction with C875 Freethorpe Road heading east for 575 metres until its junction with C886 Mill Road in the Parish of Reedham.

The Order shall be in effect (in force) on 7 June 2026 and or until the restrictions are no longer necessary, whichever is the earliest. The roads will be temporarily restricted (except for emergency and pedestrian access) for the duration of the Humpty Dumpty
10K which is anticipated to be between 9.45am and 12pm. The restrictions specified will only have effect at such times and to such extent as indicated by the display of on site signs.

The promoter of the event is Great Yarmouth and District Athletics Club.
A person who contravenes, or who uses or permits the use of a vehicle in contravention of, a restriction or prohibition imposed by this Order shall be guilty of an offence.

All parishioners are invited to attend.
Public comments are welcome on items on the agenda during Public Participation at the beginning of the meeting.
Comments on other matters can be made at Item 17 and will be considered for inclusion on the agenda for the next meeting.
