The might River Swale burst over the new section of trail on Saturday 16th March due to an extreme amount of rain. Within 24hours the river was back down to normal levels but leaving a bit of mess in it's wake. Remedial work is due to be carried out soon to the section very close to stepping stones opposite Healaugh. It's absolutely fine to ride just take a little care as you ride past. Enjoy😃

Swale Trail - Swaledale

Swale Trail a 20km (12 mile) route between Reeth and Keld in the stunning Swaledale. This is a mixture of high quality tracks and very quiet road sections which keeps close to the valley bottom. This is the Dales though, so a bit of climbing is inevitable. The Trail has been designed with families with older children and cyclists with some experience in mind.
