💯 A wonderful afternoon celebrating 100 years of the Forbes Group Forbes Rentals - Home Appliances and TVs

From a small local electronics service in 1926 to a respected national provider today, Forbes has been built on trust, service, and exceptional people. No organisation reaches a century without them.

One of the joys of my Mayoral year — which ends in just a few hours — has been discovering incredible businesses right on our doorstep. Despite living within three miles for many years, I had no idea Forbes was located here. I certainly do now! 😃

Congratulations to everyone at Forbes and here’s to the next 100 years.💯👏👏

Today is the last day of my Mayoral year and this evening at the Reigate and Banstead Borough Annual Council Meeting, Cllr Nick Harrison will be elected as the Mayor of the Borough of Reigate and Banstead for the 2026/7 municipal year. I wish him the very best for his term.

My thanks go to EVERYONE who has been so kind and supportive during the year. It's been a pleasure to have met so many residents, organisations and businesses.🙏❤️

It has been a absolute privilege to have held the position and I will always be grateful to have had the honour. 🙏❤️

A massive thank you to everyone who supported Home-Start East Surrey at their 30th birthday celebration. 🎂 It was a wonderful evening and the Mayoress and I were thrilled to be there.

Well done to the team who made it such an enjoyable and successful evening. 🎉🎉

Home Start-East Surrey is powered by a tremendous group of volunteers. Importantly, I know that the incredible £35,000 raised on the night will continue to support the amazing work they do in our community. 🙏🙏🙏👏👏👏❤️

🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ Great to have met Taylor Seagrave of Shift Run Club, a local running community based in Horley, though runs happen around our locality including Reigate.

🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️You can run for free, it's social and open to all.That can only be a good thing for physical and mental wellbeing. I was so pleased to have had a chat with Taylor at Lucy Rayner Foundation community event at the weekend.

⚽️ There was a great atmosphere at Banstead Village Football Club for their Presentation Day event. Thank you for the warm welcome and it's brilliant to see so many youngsters engaged with footie. Well done for a superb season. 🏅🏆

It was really good to have spent some time with Chairman, Brian Adamson, who told me about the history of the club, its community ethos and the ambition for the future.
A huge thank you to the coaches, the management and administrators at the club and all those who volunteer to make it such a terrific club. Our community is richer for all your efforts. 🙏👏👏👏⚽️

Special thanks to Louise for organising my visit and her extraordinary efforts founding and leading the Dylan Strong Foundation The club and the foundation will always be bonded I am sure. 🙏❤️ ⚽️
