The North Wales Women's Centre is now closed for the Summer Bank Holiday. We'll be back open on Tuesday, 1st September.

Ella from Caniad North Wales will be running a drop-in session in our Welcome Area on Thursday, 10th September between 10am - 4pm.

Caniad North Wales is a support project dedicated to improving services for all. You are welcome to pop by if you would like to learn more about what they do and for an opportunity to share your experiences of mental health services.

Dolly Parton was a global icon, a fierce advocate for women, and an extraordinary philanthropist whose legacy of strength, kindness, and empowerment will live on forever.

The team and community at the North Wales Women's Centre are deeply saddened by the passing of Dolly Parton at the age of 80.

Raised "dirt poor" in a one-room cabin in rural Tennessee, she turned her early hardships into a lifelong mission to lift others out of poverty.

Dolly wrote thousands of songs, using her brilliant storytelling to give a powerful voice to women’s resilience, struggles, and dignity.

She used her unforgettable image and sharp wit to show women everywhere that they should never apologize for being exactly who they want to be.

From gifting millions of books via her Imagination Library to funding vital medical research, her generosity knew no bounds.

Rest in peace, Dolly. Thank you for showing us how to work hard, stand tall, and lead with love. 🌟✨

We had a lovely morning making masks and little superheroes, colouring in, and listening to a super storytime 🖍️🫟📖

Come and see you NHS team for free Sexual Health and Blood Borne Virus testing in a confidential women-only safe space. This service is available for women age 18+

We're excited to share that Bawso are running their first monthly 'Circle of Comfort' group at the North Wales Women's Centre on Thursday, 27th August between 1pm-3pm. This women only group will then continue to take place on the last Thursday of the month.

Bawso is a charity that supports people from Black and Ethnic Minority backgrounds who are affected by domestic abuse and other forms of abuse, including Female Ge***al Mutilation, Forced Marriage, Human Trafficking & Prostitution.
