🌞Moors Valley parkrun #466🌞
It was a warm one this morning, with summer certainly making its presence felt. Fortunately, our temporary B Course provided plenty of shade through the forest, although there were still a few exposed sections where the ‘heat’ could be felt!!
5️⃣7️⃣6️⃣people joined us to walk, and run the course, including 107 first timers.
👏👏 Congratulations to the latest Moors Valley Couch to 5K graduates, who completed their first 5K at parkrun today. Reaching this point is a fantastic achievement, and we hope today is the start of many more parkruns.
We were pleased to welcome visitors from Solihull, Portsmouth, Colchester, Cheddar, Guernsey, Harrow, Manchester, Chippenham and Weymouth, along with members of Poole AC, who joined us for a club visit. We hope you all enjoyed your morning at Moors Valley.

💜Finally, a huge thank you to our 4️⃣4️⃣volunteers. From setting up the course before most people arrived, to marshalling, barcode scanning, timing, funnel management and packing everything away afterwards, every role is essential. parkrun simply couldn't take place without people volunteering their time each week, so thank you to everyone who helped make today's event happen.
If you'd like to see parkrun from a different perspective, we'd love to welcome you to the volunteer team. There are roles to suit everyone, and no previous experience is needed. As always, parkrun can only happen thanks to our volunteers
Thank you to everyone who joined us this morning. We hope you managed to stay cool afterwards, and we look forward to seeing you again next Saturday.
