As part of PCSO Colledge's leaving the force, an important part of the breakaway project work is joint working with local police, which is why PCSO Brown will continue to support the referral process for the free boxing sessions as PCSO Colledge transitions out of the policing role.

- Cannabis grow located in Langely Mill.

Heanor SNT officers have entered an address in Langely Mill, today and discovered a sizable cannabis grow. After speaking with local residents this grow has clearly had a huge impact on the community, affecting their daily lives with the constant smell.

Cannabis grows cause a huge risk to those nearby, not only the disruption from the smell but also from bypassing electricity which is unsafe and not professionally done, causing a risk of fire. Cultivating cannabis or drugs of any form brings organised criminality, violent crime and general risk to those that live nearby.

As always, we strongly rely on information from the public to report these issues so we can take a proactive approach!
