Free Courses for young adults! The Getting Ready to Work course offers free lunch as part of the delivery and the Introduction to Youth Work can offer those attending the course a reimbursement for their travel expenses of up to £3 per session (total of £30 if all sessions are attended) these are offered as an incentive.

Both courses will result in gaining an AQA Unit Award accreditation, which is recognised by employers.

ABANDONED VEHICLES need to be reported to Rother here https://www.rother.gov.uk/reportit/ (previously Sussex Police - Operation Crackdown)

VERGES within the village centre are the responsibility of the Parish Council. We have recently engaged a new contractor for this work. Verges away from the village centre are the responsibility of East Sussex Highways.

STREET LIGHTS are the responsibility of the Parish Council with the exception of those on the A21 which are the responsibility of National Highways.

MILL SITE UPDATE

Homes England have submitted their planning application for the Mill Site to Rother District Council. This has been published this week on the Rother planning website at https://online.rother.gov.uk/planning/index.html?fa=getApplication&id=262730

The Parish Council Planning Committee will consider this application at their next meeting 7.30pm on 6th July at the Youth Centre.
