Ghostly tales and murderous deeds from Rochdale's past will chill you to the core on these evening walks around Rochdale town centre. Local professional actors Colin Meredith & Russell Richardson will take you on a spine tingling journey as you wander through the back streets of Ro

chdale to places you've never been before. Spend 90 minutes in the company of Rochdale's finest storytellers as they show you the places where dark deeds took place in days of old. The walks start at 7.30pm from the Baum pub on Toad Lane and are held on alternate Thursdays, priced £5 per person. At the end of the walk you can warm yourself in the cosy surroundings of The Baum, one of Rochdale's finest Real Ale pubs.

After 16 successful years of tours in Rochdale we have new fees for 2026.
Private walks can be booked for any day of the year in advance and our new charges are £60 for six people. Any additions to the group are to be charged at £10 per person.
