Organisational Abuse, could it happen here?
with Professor Michael Preston-Shoot

Learning from an investigation of provider concerns

Book for a free open session on Tuesday 9 June 6pm - 7:30pm.

Michael is Professor Emeritus of Social Work at the University of Bedford. This short introduction does not do justice to the extensive
involvement that he has had in the development of safeguarding practice, chairing Safeguarding Adults Boards, and undertaking
Safeguarding Adults Reviews. He was co-author of the 1st and 2nd National Analysis of SARs and has worked in collaboration with the
Local Government Association to produce briefings and guidance for the sector.

During this session, Michael will share valuable insights from the recently published West Sussex Safeguarding Adults Board report,
“Response to Provider Learning Review” (May 2025).The recommendations from the review are significant and relevant for both local
and national safeguarding practice. Don’t miss this opportunity to share in the learning being made available.
