Happy Father’s Day from all of us at Eastgate House!

Charles Dickens had 10 children himself and often used his writing chalet at the end of his garden at to find some peace and quiet, and to write.

This Father’s Day, why not visit to see the chalet in our lovely gardens today, and take a stroll around Eastgate House, open from 10am.

The house features in some of his works, and on the second floor we have a special exhibition exploring his last, The Mystery of Edwin Drood.
