A great day of learning and experience for our South Yorkshire Police Cadets, who had the opportunity to assist with Public Order training.
It was fantastic to see them getting involved, gaining an insight into the skills, teamwork and professionalism required in policing, while supporting officers with their training.
Proud to see our cadets developing confidence, learning new skills and getting a real taste of policing in action.

The sessions lasting around 2 hours, were a workshop type event covering three topics, Stalking and Harassment, Sharing Images and Consent. They were held at two Fire stations, Rotherham and Edlington, with a total of 15 cadets in attendance.

BRINSWORTH 999 DAY: We had a great day yesterday (Wednesday 12th August) at Brinsworth 999 it was great to see so many people out in the sunshine. We had fantastic support from our Police Cadets and we spoke to lots of attendees about all things Community Safety. The children loved the fingerprinting and uniform try on we offered. But the star of the show was our hand made Police Box (Tardis) where the children had to guess the contents.

See you next year 🚓
