Our healthcare services, including the Urgent and Emergency Care Centre (UECC), are very busy. Only attend if you need urgent medical attention or if a healthcare professional advises you to.

Use NHS 111 online or by phone for advice and to be directed to the most appropriate service. Your local pharmacist can also give advice on many common illnesses and ailments.

This week is Baby Loss Awareness Week. It can be a difficult time for parents and family members as it may bring up some difficult emotions.

There is help available from the NHS. Charities like Sands - baby loss charity, Miscarriage UK, and Tommy's also offer support.

Be kind to yourself and remember you are not alone.

Our annual memorial service to mark Baby Loss Awareness Week is tonight at 6pm in the chapel at Rotherham Hospital. All families affected by baby loss are welcome to attend.

Today it's AHPs Day, a day when the NHS celebrates it's incredible Allied Health Professionals (AHPs)! 💙

We celebrated the day with events at both Rotherham Hospital and our community site BreathingSpace. The events spotlighted our amazing AHPs roles and the different, important roles they have in caring for our patients.

There are 14 Allied Health Professionals roles working throughout the NHS. Nine of these roles - dietitians, occupational therapists, operating department practitioners orthoptists, physiotherapists, podiatrists, orthotists, radiographers and speech and language therapists - are part of the team in Rotherham caring for patients across our sites and in the community.

For all that you do, thank you to all of our AHPs! 💙
