The way private renting works has changed🏠

Have you checked what the Renters' Rights Act means for you?

If you're an experienced landlord or new to renting out property, it's important to understand the new requirements and make sure your tenants receive the information they're entitled to🏡

Taking a few minutes to familiarise yourself with the changes now could help avoid issues further down the line.

We're asking residents, tenants, landlords and letting agents for their views on proposed changes to how we deal with poor housing conditions🏡

This includes what to do when letting agents and landlords break housing laws, and how any financial penalties would be calculated.

We would love to hear your views to shape the final policies before it goes to Cabinet💬

This consultation closes Thursday 8 October.
