Do you know what your local parish council does?

It’s more than paying for flower beds and firework displays. Parish Councils represent your local community and manage some local services in your neighbourhood, including parks, cemeteries and allotments🌳

We’re wanting to hear from you about your local parish council and the areas they support and look after.

More new Council homes for local people are now complete in Rotherham🏡

This time we’re making it happen with the completion of six new properties on Clement Street, Kimberworth. It’s all part of our promise to provide 1,000 new Council homes in the borough by summer 2027.

All of the homes will be available for Council rent, thanks to the Council’s Small Sites Homebuilder Initiative which provides a fast-track route for developers.

Applicants for council homes in Rotherham need to have lived or worked here for at least three of the last four years, with a limited number of exceptions including military veterans and people fleeing domestic violence.
