Stay tick-safe with these six simple steps:

🥾 Stick to paths and avoid brushing through long grass.
🥾 Wear long sleeves and tuck trousers into socks.
🥾 Use insect repellent on skin and clothing.
🥾 Check yourself during your walk and after. Take extra care to look behind knees, around the waist and groin, under arms, along the hairline and behind ears.
🥾 Remove ticks ASAP using a tick remover or fine-tipped tweezers. Always follow NHS guidelines for tick safety and removal.
🥾 Check pets before heading home.

David has been praised for his depth, warmth, and storytelling, and with decades of research behind him, he reveals history that’s as enlightening as it is unforgettable.
