This summer, we’re recruiting a brand new team of Clay Canal Guardians and we need some brilliant young creature-makers to help us.

Join local artist Rebecca Thompson for a fun, hands-on clay workshop at Glebefields Library and create your own fantastical canal-protecting creature. Super strong? Extra sneaky? Covered in spikes? A little bit scary? You decide.

This week we’re supporting ASB Awareness Week, led by Resolve, raising awareness of anti-social behaviour (ASB).

We know ASB can have a real impact on people’s daily lives and wellbeing. That’s why we’re committed to listening to our residents and working with partners to keep our communities safe and welcoming for everyone.

This week is about encouraging open conversations, promoting support and empowering residents to report issues. ASB Awareness Week also coincides with the Sandwell-led Safer 6 initiative - a six-week programme focused on building cleaner, safer and stronger communities.
