We are looking forward to our first drawing workshop to be held in the cave. The opportunity to focus on the carvings, analysing the contrasts, forms and shapes that the original carver made will hopefully bring a new appreciation for the work performed hundreds of years ago. These sessions will be expertly led by The Creative Canvas, so all abilities welcome. Tickets available from www.roystoncave.co.uk/events

St John the Baptist's feast day is observed on 24th June, which celebrates his birth, rather than his death. It is possible that the cave had links to the Priory that was in Royston before the dissolution of the monasteries, as there is a copy of the seal, featuring John the Baptist, carved into the wall. Join us for a public mid-week tour on his feast day and learn more about the saint, the priory, the cave and its carvings and much more !

On the eve of the full moon, a time when energy is quietly building and illumination begins to rise, join Becky Chanting Stork for an immersive sound journey and meditation.
The full moon energy invites expansion, awareness, and a deepening connection to what is ready to be seen. The drum offers a grounding heartbeat, while the singing bowls create space, resonance, supporting the nervous system to settle and the mind to soften.
This is a space to pause, to listen, and to reconnect.
June 28th at 5pm and 6:15pm.
Tickets available online at roystoncave.co.uk/events

A few tickets are left for our St George special on 23rd April. Visit the cave and discover the possible origins of our mysterious chalk chamber, and the carvings that adorn the walls. Could this be a representation of England's patron saint ?
