Hello Dunchurch! Tuesday 8th of September we are very happy to welcome back the Pantomaniacs every Tuesday in term time!

We loved having them the past couple months before the summer holidays began, and can't wait to enjoy their activities they're going to bring to the library with each new theme!

Their first theme on their first Tuesday back will be....

Kings and Queens!

So bring along your little ones for a royally exciting morning of storytelling and activities!

Hello Dunchurch! We can't believe it's already the last week of Summer Holidays! So, before you go back to school, complete your Summer Reading Challenge!

If you're reading your last book, or only have a few more to go, make sure you complete the challenge before you go back into school, so when you do go back, you'll receive your certificate given to you by your school!

Just come into the library this week, show us your progress and completion and we'll give you your medal!

We've had a wonderful Summer Reading Challenge at the library this year, we are so happy to see how many little ones have signed up this summer and we thank you so much for taking part! We hope you enjoyed every book you read and keep up the good work into your new school year!

Summer Reading Challenge

Hello Dunchurch! We are happy to welcome the Play Rangers to Dunchurch Community Hub & Library!

On Thursday 20th August, the Play Rangers are coming for a fun time of crafts and fun! This won't be their only time at the library, after a short break we will regularly welcome them back every Thursday when September comes around!

This session with the Play Rangers will be full of a bunch of playful making activities, as well as exploring through their different themed weeks and activities (using art and imagination) they'll bring with them once they come in September!

These sessions are FREE with no booking required! And all ages are welcome!

All children must be accompanied by a parent or a responsible guardian.

We can't wait to regularly welcome them soon, so why not come tomorrow and don't miss out on any of the fun that will be happening this session!

Printed copies of the residents’ letter regarding local government reorganisation in Warwickshire are available as you walk into Dunchurch Community Hub & Library.

They’re ready to read and sign if you wish to support the letter.

Completed letters can be posted to the address shown on the letter.

Hello Dunchurch! We can't believe it's already halfway through the summer holidays, and the amount of signups we've had at the library for this year's Summer Reading Challenge!

You still have time to sign up to the reading challenge and complete it before you go back to school! Just come into the library and we can give you all the information you need, or even sign up online and come and grab the books you would like to read for the challenge from the library!

It can be anything! Books, Audiobooks, Comics. Any pages count and taking part is completely FREE!

This challenge is on for the rest of the Summer Holidays, and if you manage to complete this challenge...you'll earn a medal and a well deserved certificate from your own school!

✨ Wow, wow, wow! What an amazing evening Thursday was! ✨

A huge, huge thank you to Anne Harrison for coming to Dunchurch Community Hub & Library and sharing her incredible story and her book, Call Me Auntie. Anne was absolutely amazing, and we feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to hear her speak. She was so open, engaging and inspiring, and made the evening truly special. ❤️

Thank you so much, Anne, for giving us such a memorable evening and for sharing your story with us.

And of course, a big thank you to everyone who came along and made it such a wonderful evening. It was fantastic to see so many of you there!

Hello Dunchurch! We have author Anne Harrison coming to the library tonight for a powerful SOLD OUT talk about her memoir 'Call Me Auntie'.

Anne's book tells the story of being left behind by her mother as a baby, growing up in foster care and later in a children's home, before embarking on an emotional journey to uncover her family history and roots!

This event is SOLD OUT! So we can't wait to welcome those who've booked tickets and we hope you enjoy what Anne Harrison has to say and share with you all!

This evening will be a fascinating and thought-provoking event, with a chance to ask questions to the author as well!
