Today is International Lottery Day, a chance to celebrate the people who play our lifesaving Lottery and the difference they make 💙🎫

Our lottery community includes more than 91,000 supporters, with almost 148,000 numbers in our weekly draw. In 2025, their support raised almost £5 million for our charity, vital funding that helps keep Your Local Air Ambulance WNDLR and the National Children's Air Ambulance flying.

By playing for just £1 a week, you could win £1,000 while helping provide vital care to patients when it matters most. We’re working towards our next milestone of 100,000 lottery members, will you be part of it?

Last week, our Your Local Air Ambulance WNDLR crews attended 70 missions, an average of 10 every day 💛

They treated 45 patients and supported people experiencing medical emergencies, road traffic collisions, falls, assaults and more, with patients taken to 12 hospitals across our regions.

Tomorrow is International Lottery Day. Our Lifesaving Lottery helps our crews be ready for weeks like this, when every second counts. Find the link in the comments.

We’re proud to share that our National Children's Air Ambulance crews have now completed more than 100 transfers in 2026. Each one represents a critically ill baby or child being given the chance to reach the specialist care they need.

Every mission costs around £5,700 to deliver, making the support of our communities more important than ever. Please share this post to help raise awareness of the vital lifechanging work our NCAA crews do and support more little lives in flight 💚

Join our team in the 2027 TCS London Marathon and help TAAS make history, in the first ever SATURDAY London Marathon 🏃

So far we have an incredible team shaping up, including past patients, their families and friends, paramedics, doctors and hospital staff from across the Midlands, and even a few of our own lifesaving air ambulance crews.

Each of our runners is pledging to cover the cost of one of our adult air ambulance flights, and you too can help make this London Marathon the best yet for TAAS, raising vital, lifesaving funds to keep us flying.

Rosie's Story. Please share this post today 💙

Rosie was just 11 when she needed the air ambulance. In April 2017, a sudden accident left her with severe injuries including fractures to her legs, shoulder, pelvis, and jaw. Thanks to the rapid response of the crew, Rosie was flown to Birmingham Children's Hospital and Charity in just seven minutes for emergency surgery.

Rosie's story is a powerful reminder of why every second counts. A mission-ready base helps our crews respond faster, so they can be there when someone needs lifesaving care most.

Today, Rosie is a university student, plays hockey, performs in productions, and even climbed Snowdon to thank the team that saved her life.

Last week, our Your Local Air Ambulance WNDLR crews responded to 64 missions, with an even split between our WN and DLR teams — 32 each. Sunday and Monday were the busiest days, medical incidents remained the largest category, and RTCs saw a noticeable increase, while our teams transported 51 patients to 11 hospitals by land and air.

As we head into another hot week, our crews are staying hydrated and ready to respond whenever they’re needed. Please help us by sharing and interacting with this post! The more people who see our work, the more support we can raise to keep our lifesaving service flying 💙

Building for the future isn't simply about replacing a building.

Mission-ready operational bases are an essential part of delivering a modern critical care service.
The Big Bases Appeal will fund purpose-built facilities that enable our crews to prepare, respond, train and return to service efficiently, helping ensure patients receive the critical care they need when every second counts.

While our regular supporters continue to fund our daily operations, the Big Bases Appeal is a separate capital appeal investing in the infrastructure that will support our services for generations.
