Don't miss out ๐ŸŒ๐Ÿ’š

We have some exciting events taking place this week delivered by Garden Organic, Rugby Eco Hub and Rugby Art Gallery and Museum as part of the Great Big Green Week.

There's something for all ages. Want to learn how to grow food in small spaces? Garden Organic and Rugby Eco Hub have just the workshop for you. Interested in repairing household items instead of replacing them? Rugby Eco Hub has you covered.

Or why not join Rugby Art Gallery and Museum for a Mini Makers session, where little ones can learn through play and creativity?

Some sessions will require booking, please visit: rugby.gov.uk/GBGW2026

Well done Rugby!

This month recycling contamination showed a big improvement - lets keep going by remembering to empty any bagged recycling and keeping lids on jars and bottles when disposing of these in your blue bin.

Our Material Recycling Facility, Sherbourne, carefully separates contamination from recycling bins.

Food waste, textiles and electricals made up 1.4% of waste that could have been recycled elsewhere.

15.8% of items were non-recyclable, including nappies, building materials, bagged items and tissues.
