BANK SUPPORT WORKER – DAY OPPORTUNITIES

£12.80 per hour
We are looking for friendly, reliable and enthusiastic Bank Support Workers to join our team, providing cover as and when required.
This is a flexible bank role, supporting adults with additional needs to take part in meaningful, fun and varied activities both at our day service and out in the community.
The role will include:
• Supporting clients to take part in activities, trips and community outings
• Encouraging independence, confidence and social interaction
• Providing person-centred support based on individual needs
• Providing personal care and support with using the bathroom where required
• Supporting with practical activities such as cooking, crafts, gardening and life skills
• Providing cover for staff absence, holidays and additional support requirements
Essential requirements:
• Must be a driver with access to your own vehicle
• Must be willing and appropriately insured to use your own vehicle to transport clients
• Comfortable and willing to provide personal care as part of the role
• Reliable, caring and confident working with adults with additional needs
• Able to work flexibly on an as-required basis
• Must be available to work until 4:00pm
Hours: Bank/as required within our operating hours of Monday–Friday, 9:00am–4:00pm.
Previous experience in care or support work would be an advantage, although we are particularly interested in finding someone with the right attitude who is enthusiastic about helping people get the most out of their day.
