Seeing Cheshire through the eyes of young people. 👏

Dan Price recently visited Warrington Youth Zone for the unveiling of ‘Life Through Our Lens’ — a film created by young people involved with the Youth Justice Service — where he presented each of them with an award celebrating their work. 🎬

Prevention and intervention is at the heart of Dan Price’s Police and Crime Plan. Funding has been provided to the Youth Justice Service for projects to help keep young people on track and improve their future prospects.

Another Cheshire school becomes phone-free!📵

Congratulations to The Ellesmere Port C of E College which is receiving funding thanks to the Phone-Free Education campaign in Cheshire led by Dan Price, alongside Esther Ghey's national initiative.

Schools that have already adopted this approach are seeing results. In one school, safeguarding incidents linked to phones have dropped by 80%, while behaviour improved by 95%.⚡️

If you’re a school who’s not signed up yet, head to our website and find out how to access funding to help you go phone free.👇

From Monday 1st June 2026, all pupils will place their smart devices in a secure pouch while on site.

Changes like this are most successful when schools and families work together, and we thank you for your ongoing support. 🤝

Have a say in how some of the big decisions in policing are made in an ethical way.

We're looking for new members to join Cheshire's independent Ethics Panel — a group that reviews real ethical issues in policing and isn't afraid to challenge how things are done.

No experience in law enforcement needed — just a commitment to fairness, transparency and asking the right questions.

A 12% drop in knife crime across Cheshire is progress worth recognising — but there’s still more to do.

That’s why projects like Blades Down CIC matter. Funded through Dan Price’s SWAP Fund, they’re helping young people make positive choices through education, support and early intervention.

Safer communities start with prevention.
