It’s back to school this week! And one of our lovely ladies has created this amazing masterpiece to celebrate…. I mean….to ‘sadly’ wave our little ones off back to the classrooms.

Well what a mad few weeks we’ve had!!!!

Just about to finish our first full week of reopening and it’s been amazing!
So let’s the start the thank yous…..

First a massive thank you to Elaine, Tony, Chris and Alison and everyone else at The Binstead Community Centre Social Club. They sorted us out with space that enabled us to do our popup shop. This worked great for those couple of weeks and we are grateful that our local community club helped us still provide a service to our wonderful village.

Our electricians…. Luke & Darren. Working hard in that heat in the first week yet still continuing on.

Our staff, Tracey, Lewis and Abi….for just doing whatever we asked you. And then working like crazy in the last couple of days to get stock on the shelves. We love you 🥰

You can always relay on your mates…..luckily we’ve got two of the best….Daz & Stu…..Daz for getting our fabulous new ceiling in and then coming back a week later with Stu to help get our fridges in. Thank you guys.

Our wonderful Postmaster and Chief of Cash & Carry runs, Trevor. For putting this altogether and making a drawing on a piece of paper become real. For working 10 hour days for 3 weeks solid. Thank you. And sorry you’ve missed out on so much golf. You can play as much as you want over the summer. ❤️

Our kids….Dan & Liv….for just doing little bits for us when we needed and for being sensible and understanding when we were late home most nights. This is all for you….you’ll thank us when you take this over one day…..maybe 🙄

And finally all of our wonderful customers and residents of Binstead. All the positive comments and feedback we’ve had has been amazing. 🤩
Your support and custom means so much to us. Sincere thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

There is obviously still some little bits that still need doing and these will get finished in due course.

UNFORTUNATE SAD NEWS…..
Due to circumstances beyond our control we are having to postpone our reopening by a couple of days.
We were expecting some brand, spanking new fridges to be delivered and they have been delayed until early next week.
This certainly isn’t the news we thought we’d be posting this weekend but we feel it’s in the best interest of everyone involved at the site including our staff, delivery driver and our customers if we didn’t reopen until these large items were safely inside and installed properly.

We are aware that we may have a quite a number of parcels from Royal Mail and DPD getting dropped off on Monday. If you urgently need these then we will allow collection of these parcels. If you can wait until we reopen properly then it would be greatly appreciated but we realise that this may not be the case for some people.
There will be NO other services available.

We hope to be reopen on Wednesday 8th July but will keep you all updated as soon as we possibly can.

You have blown us away with your kind words and thoughts these last couple of weeks. Showing your support to our temporary closure has made it all so much easier.
We are up at The Binstead Community Centre with a little pop-up shop. It was lovely to see so many of you. We are here for the next 2 weeks, 7am-5pm, with all your daily essentials.
