Donate to Hertfordshire Libraries

It’s now easy to donate online to the library service by visiting our website. We are often offered donations of money by users who wish to show their appreciation for the service. Now you can also support the library service by donating online. You don't have to donate. Hertfordshire Libraries are a universal and free service to the community. Your decision to donate is an entirely voluntary one. We ask that you donate only as much as you feel comfortable with. You may want to consider either a one-off payment or more frequently.

100% of each donation goes directly to Hertfordshire Libraries and is used to maintain and enhance our services. https://www.hertfordshire.gov.uk/librarydonations

There is so much more on our Libraries website

I have recently taken a short FREE course on Forensic Psychology, through OpenLearn, accessed through the Reference Library Online

OpenLearn, provided by The Open University, allows you to take free courses on a range of topics including:

Money & Business
Education & Development
History & the Arts
Digital & Computing

… plus much more

Some of the courses are 5 minutes up to 24 hours of study

Whether you want to learn more about the subject for fun (which I did) or maybe you would like to take a qualification in future but want to try it out first, this is a great facility accessed through your Hertfordshire Libraries website.

Why not have a look and give it a go like me
