Join The Big Swim and help us raise £10,000 for improvements to the pool at Marlborough!

Children can take part by swimming as many widths or lengths as they can in just 30 minutes, while collecting sponsorship to support this fantastic cause. It's a fun challenge that helps children feel proud of making a real difference to their school pool.

Every splash, width and length brings us one step closer to our target! Come along, cheer them on and help make The Big Swim a huge success.

Saphina want to support ...
Over to her...
"For those that don’t know me, I’ve just finished Year 11 and turn 16 in August.

The Little Princess Trust is a charity which makes and supplies wigs to children who have lost their hair through illness, primarily cancer treatment.

I have decided to shave my head and donate my hair to this charity for that purpose. However, the charity is in dire need of money to support the making and distribution of wigs, so it made perfect sense to raise money for this at the same time. It costs around £700 to make and supply just ONE wig so I want to make as much as possible for them.

The Little Princess Trust also supports research into Paediatric Cancer treatments.
Please support me in this important and memorable journey and if you see me round school in September 2026 with a buzz cut, remember to donate. Just £1 from every pupil and teacher would benefit the charity hugely.

I plan on continuing to raise money after the event until I go back to school in September and you can see me in all my new-found-baldness glory.

Here is my Just Giving page and if your parents donate, they can Gift Aid the donation, so the charity receives even more money!

Our talented Year 7 students have been busy working with the Art Department and the Abbey Flyer on a fantastic community project, designing posters featuring British birds found in our local gardens, woodlands, and wetlands.
We are incredibly proud to share that their beautiful artwork is now on display on Platform 11 at Watford Junction Station!
This is a wonderful achievement and a fantastic opportunity for our students to see their creativity celebrated in the wider community. Their hard work, dedication, and artistic talent have truly paid off.
If you're passing through Watford Junction, be sure to take a look!
Well done to everyone involved – you should be very proud of what you've achieved.
