Donate to Hertfordshire Libraries

It’s now easy to donate online to the library service by visiting our website. We are often offered donations of money by users who wish to show their appreciation for the service. Now you can also support the library service by donating online. Hertfordshire Libraries are a universal and free service to the community. Your decision to donate is an entirely volun

Time to reveal the answer to last week's ! 📍🔍

This was Stanley Matthews furniture shop. Its address is listed as Market Place, but was at the boundary of Market Place, French Row and Christopher Place. It was demolished but stood where the arched entrance to Christopher Place now is.

Well done if you guessed it correctly!

This photo was taken in 1968 of the building named 'Chequers'. It was first a cinema then a bingo hall. The building is still there and is now called Mooboo bubble tea with the Maltings Dental Surgery upstairs.
