"I'm not creative" is something we hear all the time.

This workshop is designed for anyone who feels a little nervous about making art, hasn't picked up a pencil in years, or simply wants to try something new in a relaxed environment.

Through playful drawing exercises inspired by botanicals, we'll focus on experimentation rather than perfection and discover what happens when we let go of expectations.

- No artistic experience required.
- All materials provided.

We’re looking for a friendly Café Assistant to join our team here at The World of Glass, St Helens!

If you love working with people, take pride in great customer service, and enjoy a busy visitor-focused environment, this could be the perfect role for you — especially as we prepare to open our brand new café in Summer 2026!

Role: Café Assistant
Hours: 6 hours per week (mainly weekends, with flexibility required)
Deadline: Friday 19th June, 11:59pm
Interviews: Week commencing 22nd June

'The Joy of Drawing'

Join the lovely artist and educator Naoise Johnson-Martin for a relaxed and welcoming creative workshop exploring playful abstract drawing with botanicals and glass.

Using fresh botanicals as inspiration, we'll experiment with expressive drawing techniques, embrace creativity without pressure, and enjoy the process of making.

You'll also have the opportunity to bring your artwork onto glass as part of a playful public art project.

No experience needed—just curiosity and a willingness to explore.

-Tickets: £20 (+ booking fee)
