Vic says, “Having retired in July, I enjoy spending time with my family, especially my grandchildren. One of my favourite pastimes is fishing, which I share with my grandson. My son and I are both service veterans, and as my son works with the British Legion, helping other veterans, I wanted to give something back as well. Therefore, having seen the damage the Labour Party has inflicted on this town over the last thirty-plus years and talking with friends and the older community members, I decided it was time to act. I decided it was time for change in St Helens, and the only credible way to achieve this was with the Reform Party, starting with the Blackbrook Ward. December 12th is an important date for this community, so use your vote for Reform and make Blackbrook the first ward in the St Helens area to have a Reform Councillor working and acting on its behalf.”

As members of the St Helens Council Licensing Committee, Councillor Sharron Roughley and I had a day out with officers from the Licensing Team. We observed a taxi driver having his vehicle checked before being re-licensed and paid a routine visit to a pub to check their licensing conditions were being complied with. Thanks to the Licensing Team for helping to keep us safe as taxi passengers and when using pubs and clubs.
