We provide blankets for cooler days & parasols if the sun is too hot, as well as a chair reservation service allowing you to pop into town for refreshments while saving your favourite spot in the delicious Cornish sunshine!

Also…… Lovely surprise yesterday to have an unexpected visit from Joe, grandson to Rod and Doreen who operated the Deckchairs before us. Wish I had taken a photo but it was a fleeting visit.
So many people ask after Rod & Doreen all the time, so it’s lovely to report that they are having a wonderful deckchair retirement with their family in Portsmouth.

Sorry folks. Went down to open up but it’s a strong easterly today. Fine if you need exfoliating but not exactly the best deckchair weather. Also we have to account for chairs blowing over and causing mayhem with passers by !!!
Hope to open tomorrow but weather is looking a little unsettled for the week ahead so will have to review each morning. Fingers crossed 🤞 we will pick up where we can !

Seems we are steaming into the last week of August and bank holiday at a rate of knots. Beaches are very busy !
