Can you help us share the books everyone wants to read this month? 📚

There’s high demand for our 10 most wanted titles, and many eager customers are waiting to borrow them. We’ve purchased as many copies as our budget allows, but if you’re able to help, we’d be truly grateful.

If you have a pristine copy, you’ve finished reading - whether it’s one you bought yourself or received as a gift - you can donate it at any library in Devon or Torbay. We’ll add it to our collection to help reduce the waiting list.

Thank you so much for your support! 💚

Happy October - we’ve got a treat for you! Our libraries are abolishing late fees, including all existing overdue fines. No tricks! 🎃💚

We hope by removing overdue fees, we are further reducing barriers to reading. This change is effective immediately.

Reservation fees and charges for lost items will still apply.

**Salcombe Library closed until at least the end of October**.

A recent Fire Risk Assessment carried out by Libraries Unlimited has identified some building improvements that need to be carried out by our landlord, Cliff House Trust. Unfortunately, Salcombe Library will need to remain closed until these improvements are in place. In the meantime we'd encourage people to use the nearest available library in Kingsbridge, or our 24/7 online library through Borrowbox.
