We’re delighted that Jasper Evans and Craig Niven are both continuing as Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Salcombe for a second year.

Both are dedicated, hard-working and committed to our community and we’re delighted to see them continue in these important roles.

🪚 SHDC has carried out repair work to a bench and planter in Salcombe, helping keep the town tidy and welcoming for everyone. 🌿

📣 Wednesday 27th May is both Full Council and the Annual General Meeting of the Town Council.

The new Mayor and Deputy Mayor will be elected, along with updates from councillors on the past year’s activities.

The full agenda is available on the website and all are welcome to attend.

The vandalised interpretation panel has now been found, restored and reinstated.

Thank you to Ranger Tim for returning it to its proper place so it can again be enjoyed by residents and visitors alike.

🌿 Footpath from North Sands to Malborough

We’re pleased to let residents and visitors know that this path has now been cleared and is open again for use.

Thank you to everyone involved in helping keep our local paths accessible and enjoyable for all.

Annual and 6-monthly season tickets are now available for Bonfire Hill Car Park.

The tickets are being provided by Salcombe Town Council at a cost of £350 per year or £200 for 6 months.

Applications can be made via Devon County Council at this link:

The newly installed Interpretation Panel on Cliff Road was vandalised and stolen some time on Friday night/Saturday morning. The Board was installed by the Town Council with grant funding from SHDC. Very sad to see this sort of behaviour in Salcombe. The Police have been informed and if anyone saw anything or has any info please let us, or the Police know.

🏛️ Full Council Meeting – Wed 22nd Apr, 6.30pm

This meeting will be held at Cliff House. Residents are welcome to attend, and there will be an opportunity for public participation at the beginning of the meeting.
