Our Chair, JP Atley, has been campaigning with Becky on this vital issue for some time and recently passed a motion at Salford CLP calling on Salford Council to end the use of bailiffs as a policy. He will soon be meeting with Becky and relevant Councillors and Council Officers to discuss the practicalities of ensuring this policy is adopted by the Council.

Proud to co-sign this letter with ACORN the union , trade unions & cross-party MPs and Councillors calling for urgent reform of council tax collection, ending heavy-handed bailiff use & supporting those in debt. Thank you Salford City Council and Bilway Marine for clearing up after Storm Bert

We are aware of the influx of debris following Storm Bert. Our teams along with Bilway Marine are responding on site. Debris flows from five rivers into the Quays - it's a busy boat as it covers the whole Ship Canal!

Today is Trans Day of Remembrance where we honour the memory of the trans people tragically lost in acts of anti-trans violence. I stand with trans people today and always.
