Ordsall Trust Limited Ordsall Trust are a Community Development Trust. Helping to improve creativity and wellbeing in the There isn't really an 'Us'. You become Us.

It's really You.

'You', if you live or work in Ordsall, or you have an interest in promoting the area. If you become a member of Ordsall Trust, then you become the Trust. A Community Development Trust draws its members (and its strength) from the local community. In the beginning, in 2007, the Trust meetings were being drawn together by local independent Community Development group 'Salford LIDS'

, but that was only temporary. As soon as people came forward to form the Trust Committee, and other groups signed up as members, LIDS called a meeting - and stood down! It was then up to the members to take the process forward, seek funding, elect a working Committee annually, and appoint some people to take charge, like a Chair, Secretary and Treasurer. These people are elected democratically and are up for re-election every year at the Ordsall Trust AGM (Annual General Meeting). If you want to get involved, (and we hope you will!), send a message either here on Facebook or on our website ("Contact Us") and find out how you may become a member. Alternatively, pop in to the weekly 'Drop-In' at 10am on a Wednesday morning at The Neighbourhood Centre, Robert Hall Street). We're currently running Creative Writing workshops each week, with a focus on weddings until beginning of June 2014. We exists to make Ordsall a better place to live, so come along and join us!

Hey, up there! Yeah, you on the right. Didn't you make a solo video back in the summer, something about Rwanda. Well, it's suddenly back in the news. The biggest Judges in the Kingdom have said it's all right to export Brits to The Sunshine State, four thousand miles away from London.

This is a solo video from last summer when the British government's plan to send asylum seekers four thousand miles away to Rwanda just sounded like a crazy dream. Today, the Chiief Judges of the land said it was Ay-OK and the deportations could start immediately.
